UPSC Civil Service Application Form 2018

The UPSC Civil Services 2018 application form filling plan will take place via online proceedings only and any other filling process will not be permitted. Online registration can be made through this platform or through the UPSC’s space – www.upsc.gov.in. Before submitted the forms, applicants are advised to confirm all the details are correct or not. Modifications may not be possible later and it can lead to the complications. Aspirants have to submit only one Civil Service application form 2018. Apply Online Date: The UPSC will begin the invitations of application forms from 7th February. All the applying entrants must note that they have to fill the registration forms on or before the 6th March 2018.

Candidates who are already in Government Service, Government owned industrial undertakings or other similar organisations or in private employment have to submit their forms directly to the UPSC. Contenders already employing in government departments should submit an undertaking that they have informed in
writing to their Head of Office/Department regarding the registration for the exam. All the options like exam centre, posts etc. should be filled correctly. 

Registration Fees: 

All the applicants excepting the SC/ ST/ Female, have to pay a fee of Rs 100/- through the offline mode – by cash in any of the branch of State Bank of India or by net banking option of any of these – State
Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Travancore, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Patiala and SBI or through the VISA/ Master Card/ Debit Card. The pay by cash option will end one day earlier and thus payees should pay before than.

UPSC Civil Services Exam Centres 2018

As we all know that UPSC provides choices to fill for opting a number of exam centres during the UPSC Registration 2018 and the commission has the right to allocate any of them. Generally, UPSC will follow the first come first serve [पहले आओ पहले पाओ!!!! ] rule for the allotments for UPSC civil Services 2018.  which means the person registering first will be given the higher priority to administer the exam centre. There will be a higher number of centres for prelims as compared to the mains because of the reduction of the number of aspirants in Mains. On 3rd June, the prelims exam will be held in 72 exam centres across the country while in 24 cores for Mains.

UPSC Civil Services Eligibility Criteria 2018

If a candidate applying for any of the examination, its capabilities must match with the eligibilities demanded by the conducting body. Otherwise, the aspirant can be disqualified. Before applying for the UPSC civil services 2018, all applicants must check their eligibilities: 

  • Nationality: For IAS and IPS, a candidate must be a citizen of India. For other services: Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. A citizen of India, a subject of Nepal and a subject of Bhutan. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  • Educational Qualification: Aspirant must be qualified (possess bachelor’s degree) from a recognised university or institution.
